EXPERIENCE
I graduated from the University of Sydney in 2016 with a PhD. I also hold a Masters degree from Griffith University (2009).
I've won awards for journalism (Best Radio Report, QLD Media Awards, 2002), and as a scholar/academic - Griffith Award for Academic Excellence, 2009; Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) scholarship, Sydney University, 2011.
More recently I've worked in the publishing industry as an author and editor. My first book, "Thunder over the Desert" - about the Australian Film Industry - was published in 2020. My second book, "REEL HEROISM: Australia's Heroic Film Industry" was published this year through London Academic Publishing
